I’m not using enough tea tree in the carpet to really be problematic from an ingestion standpoint. And I typically use oils from Liberty Naturals, but do sometimes use Plant Therapy or Eden’s Garden depending on my need for quicker delivery or just one oil (since Liberty is a wholesale site). I have used DoTerra and Young Living in the past, as well.

If oxyclean is not safe for a durable rug my family has walked over for ten years, how is it possible my white linens ever made it out the oxyclean soak bucket?

The same thing happened to me years ago. I panicked. It turned out that Kirby vacuums used a dry cleaning solution in their machines that got rid of the wicking from wood floors underneath. I still use steam cleaners but I keep that dry cleaning solution on hand in case of to much water causing wicking from the wood floors.

Weird every time we have got our carpets professionally cleaned or rented an apartment where it’s been professionally cleaned it dirties so fast. I feel like old stains resurface or there is some kind of residue left on the carpet that you can feel and the dirt just sticks to it. When I steam clean I don’t have that issue. I know this is an old post but I’m glad I found it since I planned to try OxiClean ….after blotting a spill the other day with it I realized how well it worked… I know they have a carpet cleaner now too.
