O Christmas Tree

My Christmas tree is lovely. Yes, I did buy it out of the back of a truck at Costco. His name is Bob, according to my kids. He might have started as some ordinary tree, but not he's special. Super special. I know what you are thinking. That tree looks nothing like a magazine picture. …

Obligatory Christmas Morning Pictures

Every year, I set the self timer, and we take a picture of our family on Christmas morning. Now, there are a few years missing. I'm not sure if the picture was taken and lost or if it just didn't get taken. I imagine it is a combination of both. So, while I am hoping …

Just finished this book. Got to say, it was fascinating, eye opening, and heart convicting. My full review is over on Goodreads. I’ve been researching the uncomfortable topic of demons lately. That might sound weird. But when you read the Gospel and see how much of Jesus’s ministry was devoted to healing people from demons, you have to stop and rethink what you thought you knew about the subject. So, here I am, chasing a weird and uncomfortable rabbit trail. #reading #reviewer #keeplearning
The little sisters were accidentally matching today, so I had to grab a picture! And yes, Sue Ellen at nine months old is almost as big as Daisy, who is three. #sisters #babiessevenandeight #largefamily #matching #pooroldsue #daisy
Homemade chicken pot pie for dinner. It was delicious. The picture doesn’t really do it justice, since you can’t see any of the pretty colors underneath. #cookingthroughMagnoliaTable #chickenpotpie #southernfood #dinner
Topher (7) lost his first tooth! He was so excited about his celebratory ice cream. (We don’t have fictional characters visit out house. Instead, I had the genius idea to do ice cream for each lost tooth. The tooth fairy would have been much cheaper!) But he has some weird plans for the tooth. Our mad scientist has some plans to experiment on his tooth. #sevenyearsold #topherbrink #losttooth #firstlosttooth #toothfairyischeaper
