The Search for Natural Carpet Cleaning

My OxiClean method of carpet cleaning is great for getting carpets clean. However, with a little one rolling around in the floor these days, I wanted something that was more natural. Cleaning with Young Living Thieves cleaner worked well, but that stuff is expensive and it isn't the easiest to get your hands on. I …

Ask LJ: Carpet Questions

I get a lot of questions related to my Carpet Cleaning with OxiClean method and my Carpet Cleaning with Young Living Thieves Cleaner method. I figured I would answer them all in one spot for you today. Dear LJ, When I am cleaning my carpet, do I stop when the water is clear? Cleaning For …

Carpet Cleaning

Before I do the unthinkable and show you my carpets, let me explain. I have 4 kids under 5. (Although, the Little Miss will be 6 next month, which kind of makes me sad.) And I have 2 dogs. And I'm clumsy. So, lots of spills. Second, my carpets are cheap. And I rent, so …

Just finished this book. Got to say, it was fascinating, eye opening, and heart convicting. My full review is over on Goodreads. I’ve been researching the uncomfortable topic of demons lately. That might sound weird. But when you read the Gospel and see how much of Jesus’s ministry was devoted to healing people from demons, you have to stop and rethink what you thought you knew about the subject. So, here I am, chasing a weird and uncomfortable rabbit trail. #reading #reviewer #keeplearning
The little sisters were accidentally matching today, so I had to grab a picture! And yes, Sue Ellen at nine months old is almost as big as Daisy, who is three. #sisters #babiessevenandeight #largefamily #matching #pooroldsue #daisy
Homemade chicken pot pie for dinner. It was delicious. The picture doesn’t really do it justice, since you can’t see any of the pretty colors underneath. #cookingthroughMagnoliaTable #chickenpotpie #southernfood #dinner
Topher (7) lost his first tooth! He was so excited about his celebratory ice cream. (We don’t have fictional characters visit out house. Instead, I had the genius idea to do ice cream for each lost tooth. The tooth fairy would have been much cheaper!) But he has some weird plans for the tooth. Our mad scientist has some plans to experiment on his tooth. #sevenyearsold #topherbrink #losttooth #firstlosttooth #toothfairyischeaper
