ESV Illuminated Scripture Journal Old Testament Review

At the end of last year, I was able to review Crossway's Illuminated Scripture Journal New Testament set. It is such a beautiful set and I have enjoyed it this year. Crossway released the Illuminated Scripture Journal Old Testament set earlier this year, and I knew it'd be just as lovely as the New Testament …

Crossway Single-Column Journaling Bible Review

I'm sure you know by now how much I love my Interleaved Journaling Bible from Crossway. I love having every other page fully blank to create without worrying about obstructing the Word. Most people use the side column journaling Bible, so I figured I would check that out. I am going back to school (if …

Crossway Scripture Journal Review

I had the opportunity to review Crossway's Scripture Journal a few months ago. Then Crossway gave me the opportunity to review their new Illuminated Scripture Journals. Both are amazing. Want to know which one is for you? Read on. First, let's look at the Illuminated Scripture Journals, since they have a little more going on. …

ESV Illuminated Bible Review

I might be a little bit of a Bible fanatic. I am always looking at the new Bibles coming out soon and admiring them. When I saw that Crossway was releasing the ESV Illuminated Journaling Bible, I was immediately obsessed. All the pictures just looked so beautiful! I couldn't wait to get my hands on …

A recipe kids love: Super Summer Pasta 😋 -Pasta (enough to feed your family— for us that is 2 lbs.) The more fun the shape, the more they’ll love it. Mine like corkscrews, shells, or orecchiette. -Sautee veggies in olive oil. I usually do garlic and red onions. Then whatever else is fresh or on sale. Tomatoes and asparagus are shown, but I’ve also done Brussels sprouts, broccoli, broccolini, spinach, and zucchini. I just pick a couple veggies and roll with it. - pine nuts -salt and pepper to taste. Once the pasta is cooked, mix it with the veggies, pine nuts, and olive oil in a baking dish. Top with fresh mozzarella cheese and broil until the cheese and browned and melted. That’s it. Super easy. Pine nuts are a good source of potassium and protein. Plus all the good stuff in the veggies. My kids love it (and act like I cooked the fanciest dinner ever). #recipe #cookingforkids #largefamilycooking
Hanging out on the porch with Sue Ellen (23 months) eating a popsicle while @adam_godbold , Pippin (7), and Daisy (4) fix the mail box. #pregnant #momlife #summerofunlimitedpopsicles #dressedindivas
They hated the water slide as a slide. They love it as a bench. 🤷🏻‍♀️
Emery (12) is an animal guy. He loves his little Polish chickens. This is Chanticleer, a Golden Laced Polish. We’ve been pretty sure from day one that this chick is a roo. He just acts like a rooster. Time will tell. He’s also a very clumsy bird. He trips quite often and has these dramatic and prolonged falls. He often flips over when bending down to get something off the ground. He might be Emery’s favorite because of all of his mishaps. For the curious, this is what homeschool life looks like. This year’s science was biology. For an end of the year project, we decided to raise chicks. This is the second batch of chicks because chicken math is real, even with little boys (maybe especially with little boys). #chicksofinstagram #chickens #polishchicken #homeschooling #homeschoolscience #biology #schoolproject #emerythekidnottheband
They clearly thought it was much warmer today than it actually was. Sue Ellen (23 months) was freezing with her watermelon popsicle in the pool! They had a blast anyway. Daisy (4) enjoyed tormenting her younger sister by splashing any chance she got. (And anyone else already going through ridiculous amounts of popsicles?! This is getting absurd.)
