Crossway Single-Column Journaling Bible Review

I'm sure you know by now how much I love my Interleaved Journaling Bible from Crossway. I love having every other page fully blank to create without worrying about obstructing the Word. Most people use the side column journaling Bible, so I figured I would check that out. I am going back to school (if …

Archaeology Bible Review

The Archaeology Study Bible was sent to me by Crossway to review. This is the hardback version. I really like the look and feel of the hardback. The half dust jacket comes off and you have a really nice hardback book with the white spine. It is also available in imitation leather and genuine leather …

The Story of Redemption Bible Review

Crossway sent me this beautiful Bible. Pictures do it justice much better than words can. And I will attempt both. This white cover is just the dust cover on the hardback version of this Bible. Under the dust cover, the hardback version is solid black with a gold foil spine. There are also imitation leather …

Pastor’s Bible Review

I received The Pastor's Bible from Crossway in order to review it. I thrust it upon The Pastor after I had a chance to use it a bit and asked his opinion, as well. So this is our review, not just my review. I received the cloth over board cover. Though it also comes in …

ESV Illuminated Bible Review

I might be a little bit of a Bible fanatic. I am always looking at the new Bibles coming out soon and admiring them. When I saw that Crossway was releasing the ESV Illuminated Journaling Bible, I was immediately obsessed. All the pictures just looked so beautiful! I couldn't wait to get my hands on …

I was watering the garden this afternoon when I hear, “Hello?! Helloooo!” I walk around the side of the house and see Pippin (7) is stuck in the chicken coop. He sees me and grins. Then it occurs to him he could open the latch using a stick, so he frees himself. He was stuck for five minutes and only realized he could get out when help came. 😂 #backyardchickens #homeschoolscience
Rapunzel (Buff Laced Polish Chick) is not amused. She is definitely judging you. #chicksofinstagram #polishchicken #judgychicken
A recipe kids love: Super Summer Pasta 😋 -Pasta (enough to feed your family— for us that is 2 lbs.) The more fun the shape, the more they’ll love it. Mine like corkscrews, shells, or orecchiette. -Sautee veggies in olive oil. I usually do garlic and red onions. Then whatever else is fresh or on sale. Tomatoes and asparagus are shown, but I’ve also done Brussels sprouts, broccoli, broccolini, spinach, and zucchini. I just pick a couple veggies and roll with it. - pine nuts -salt and pepper to taste. Once the pasta is cooked, mix it with the veggies, pine nuts, and olive oil in a baking dish. Top with fresh mozzarella cheese and broil until the cheese and browned and melted. That’s it. Super easy. Pine nuts are a good source of potassium and protein. Plus all the good stuff in the veggies. My kids love it (and act like I cooked the fanciest dinner ever). #recipe #cookingforkids #largefamilycooking

They hated the water slide as a slide. They love it as a bench. 🤷🏻‍♀️
